Classroom Teacher
Sacred Heart School, Casterton, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Classroom Teacher (Grade 4-6) to join our team in 2026. This full-time fixed term role includes a POL 3 leadership opportunity, with a focus on either Learning Diversity, Curriculum and Teaching Leadership, or supporting the Principal as 2IC in planning and staff development. The position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative, faith-filled and inclusive school community.
This is a fixed-term position for the 2026 school year, with hours negotiable depending on the successful applicant.

Learning Support Officer
Sacred Heart School, Casterton, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Officer (LSO) to join our inclusive and supportive school community in 2026. The LSO will work closely with teachers and the Learning Diversity Leader to assist students with diverse learning, behavioural and social needs. The role involves supporting small group and one-on-one learning activities, helping implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and contributing to a positive, engaging and child-safe classroom environment.
This is a fixed-term position for the 2026 school year, with hours negotiable depending on the successful applicant.

Volunteering at Sacred Heart
Parents and volunteers are encouraged to support Sacred Heart Primary School and our students by volunteering their time to help in classrooms, work programs, school events, excursions, catering and various other times as invited by the school. In 2008, new State Legislation required volunteers working with children in Victoria to have a current Working with Children Check (WWC Check).
If you would like to volunteer your time at Sacred Heart Primary School for any purpose/event, you will need a current Working with Children Check (WWCC), this is Victorian Government legislation.
